Thanks for your interest in supporting the Maidenfire Festival! Here’s what we’re all about.
 
The Maidenfire Festival is a transformative 5-day women and girls’ festival all about honoring the different stages of women’s lives. For those going through their first period, we have a menarche ceremony. For pregnant women, we have a mother blessing. For postmenopausal women, we have a special crone’s crowning ceremony.
 
In addition to being a space to honor our sacred female biology, Maidenfire is a space of rest, learning, and fun. From the foraging walks to the cacao ceremony, the teen circle to the health and healing workshops, there are tons of opportunities for women and girls to learn, grow, and connect more deeply to themselves and each other.
 
The Maidenfire Festival is hosted by Beldam Womancare, which aims to share information, build community, and support women in North Texas and beyond.
 
Your support ensures that the Maidenfire Festival may continue to be hosted on sacred land at High Hope Ranch.
 
High Hope Ranch is dedicated as a conservancy-in-perpetuity and sanctuary for retreat. As a biodynamic ranch and farm, her 900-acres welcomes guests to “wander with wonder,” exploring miles of trails, contemplative areas, and vast landscapes. Experiential programs such as Maidenfire are perfectly aligned with the intent, dedications and spirit of High Hope.
 
Your support also allows us to expand our programming to serve girls ages 10-13 and 14-18 with more focused educational and fun activities.
